In the context of circuit, we often refer to the magnetic flux through a loop of wire. When a time varying magnetic field is generated by one loop penetrates a second loop, a voltage is induced between the ends of the seconds loop. It means when two loops with or without contacts between them affect each other through the magnetic field generated by any one of them, they are said to be magnetically coupled.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">SELF INDUCTANCE<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let us consider an <a href=\"https:\/\/study.madeeasy.in\/me\/engineering-materials\/induction-hardening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inductor<\/a>, with N turns in figure shown below.
