We shall largely ignore the permanent magnet and save the time-varying electric field for a later discussion. Our present relationships will concern the magnetic field produced by a differential dc element in free space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Biot-Savart\u2019s law states that the magnetic field intensity dH produced at a point P as shown in figure by the differential current element is proportional to the product Idl and the sine of the angle \u03b1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4614 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/study.madeeasy.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/intensity.jpg\" alt=\"Intensity\" width=\"183\" height=\"41\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">AMPERE\u2019S CIRCUIT LAW<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After solving a number of simple electrostatic problems with Coulomb\u2019s law, we found that the same problems could be solved much more easily by using <a href=\"https:\/\/study.madeeasy.in\/ee\/types-of-laws\/gausss-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gauss\u2019s law<\/a> whenever a high degree of symmetry was present. Again, an analogous procedure exists in magnetic fields.
