Single Instruction Stream, Single Data Stream (SISD):<\/strong> A computer with a single processor is called a Single Instruction Stream, Single Data Stream (SISD). It represents the organization of a single computer containing a <a href=\"https:\/\/study.madeeasy.in\/cs-it\/what-is-the-functionality-of-control-unit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">control unit<\/a>, a processor unit, and a memory unit. Instructions are executed sequentially and the system may or may not have internal parallel processing. Single Instruction Stream, Multiple Data Stream (SIMD):<\/strong> It represents an organization of computer which has multiple processors under the supervision of a common control unit. Multiple Instruction Stream, Single Data Stream (MISD):<\/strong> It refers to the computer in which several instructions manipulate the same data stream concurrently. Multiple Instruction Stream, Multiple Data Stream (MIMD):<\/strong> MIMD computers are the general purpose parallel computers.
